Nigerian tribes & mutual distrust

Nigeria is surely a state but it will be definitely ages before it became a nation. The mutual distrust that exists among various tribes will continue to be a cog in the wheel in our progress.
Whenever i browsed various Nigerian blogs and forums i observed that people of a particular tribe have a derogatory name which they call another tribe and vice-versa.for instance, the people of the south usually call the Hausas as the abokis (meaning uncivilized or novices) and the yorubas usually refers to Igbos as greedy people who will do anything for money.the Hausas also are guilty for its they who termed the Igbos as inyamurai (starved of water).
For Nigeria to really tow the path of development,we must eschew the path of tolerance and mutual respect for each other.we have no other country!
